What do you like most about teaching yoga?:
You know that feeling you have after a yoga class? Peace, contentment, bliss? I experience those same feelings when teaching yoga. My students bring themselves to class, and I humbly hope to provide them a class which provides what they need~~ in their physical, mental, or spiritual bodies. The ability to share yoga is a true gift and a blessing.
Teaching philosophy / describe your average class:
Laughter in class allows us all be more our authentic selves. If you're smiling I know you're breathing! My classes may vary from a focused yin yoga class to a vinyasa flow creating some internal heat. In all of my classes I encourage yogis to move with respect to their bodies. Blocks, blankets, and bolsters are welcome and encouraged for your yoga to suit you. Yoga encourages us to make connections within ourselves, our families, our friends and our community. My truest wish is for my students to take the yoga in their interpretation into the world.

What is your favorite pose?:
Supta baddha konasana brings the body and the mind in connection with the breath. I could sit in this asana forever. My preferred standing asana is Warrior II as this asana focuses me on my alignment from my toes to my crown.
Anything else you want to share:
I love leading yoga hikes and spending time outdoors in all seasons. Camping, hiking, downhill skiing, and paddling my SUP or canoe are some of my favorite activities. When indoors, I knit, crochet, and cook for my vegan and vegetarian family.
